Terms and Conditions for Captains (Drivers)
Ridely Transport Mediation App
1️⃣ Registration and Acceptance
- 1.1 Drivers must register on the app using accurate and complete personal
information.
- 1.2 The driver agrees to comply with all local laws related to
transportation and shipping within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- 1.3 The app management reserves the right to reject any driver
registration without providing reasons.
2️⃣ Driver Obligations
- 2.1 The driver must adhere to safety standards during transportation and
ensure the safety of the goods.
- 2.2 The driver must ensure the vehicle is in good condition, with all
legal documents and necessary insurance, before performing any transport operation.
- 2.3 The driver is obligated to arrive on time and carry out the transport
according to the instructions agreed upon with the shipper.
3️⃣ Responsibility for Shipments
- 3.1 The app acts solely as a mediator between the shipper and the driver
and bears no responsibility for any damage, loss, or delay during transportation.
- 3.2 Any damage to goods during transport is entirely the responsibility of
the driver, who must compensate the shipper for the full loss without involving the app.
- 3.3 The driver must immediately inform the shipper of any accident or
damage to the goods and handle the matter directly.
4️⃣ Payment and Fees
- 4.1 Transportation fees are to be paid according to the rates agreed upon
via the app between the shipper and the driver.
- 4.2 The app reserves the right to deduct mediation fees or commissions
specified for each transport operation.
- 4.3 Any financial disputes between the driver and the shipper are the
direct responsibility of the parties involved, and the app bears no liability.
5️⃣ Conduct and Discipline
- 5.1 The driver must behave politely and respectfully with all users and
clients.
- 5.2 The app must not be used for any illegal or suspicious purposes.
- 5.3 Any violation of these terms may result in the suspension or
termination of the driver’s account without prior notice.
6️⃣ Disclaimer of Liability
- 6.1 The app is not responsible for any material or moral losses resulting
from transportation.
- 6.2 Any legal or civil claims arising from damage, loss of goods, or any
incident are solely the responsibility of the driver.
- 6.3 The driver acknowledges and agrees that using the app is at their own
full risk, and any disputes related to shipments are to be resolved directly with the shipper
7️⃣ Amendments
- 7.1 The app management reserves the right to modify these terms at any
time without prior notice. Continued use of the app by the driver constitutes implicit acceptance of the
modified terms.
